Facebook Suggestion
On behalf of the Blissfulsage Foundation. I would like to thank the Placencia Breeze for their suggestion in the September issue of the Breeze to use Facebook to grow a business. On October 4th I started the “Battle Cancer” Cause on Facebook. Between October 4th and October 30th we have used Facebook to share information about the Blissfulsage Foundation initiative “Battle cancer”. To date 258 people have become members of the “Battle Cancer” cause. During that same period we raised $45 on Facebook to support early detection, cancer awareness and cancer research in Belize. Facebook also has a great feature where one can donate their birthday to support their favorite cause. Since my birthday is in the month of November, I thought it was a great Idea so I donated my birthday by asking my friends on Facebook to donate to my “birthday wish”. I started this birthday wish two days ago and have raised $50 toward my $1000 birthday wish goal. Thank you for suggesting Facebook. Our Top six recruiters for the Battle Cancer Cause in October are as follows: Raquel Battle (30), Jane Eiley (22), Sally Baldwin (20), Patricia Celenza (11), Courtney Ramirez (11) and Megs Yearwood (9). Thanks to all those who have joined the Battle Cancer Cause and to those who Have donated and recruited on Facebook in the month of October.
