What’s Happening at the Placencia Pre-school? Great Things!
It was very welcoming and heartwarming to see the participation of parents, especially the young fathers, involving themselves in what is happening in their children’s first stage of educational and developmental growth.
I want to compliment all persons responsible for the extreme generosity and kindness they have extended in order for this preschool to get started. As the head teacher, Mrs. Ramclam, along with Mrs. McKay and Ms. Lisa, it is with great pride that we thank all parties involved as we offer ourselves with gratitude and appreciation to have been chosen to be some of the first educators and role models to be involved in your children’s earliest and first educational stage. I take this time to say to the parents that the first five years of your children’s lives are the most extreme and valuable part of their emotional, spiritual and cognitive development. Read to your child daily. Remember that your child learns what she/he lives.
If a child lives with criticism he learns to condemn.
If a child lives with hostility he learns to fight.
If a child lives with ridicule he learns to be shy.
If a child lives with shame he learns to be guilty.
If a child lives with tolerance he learns to be patient.
If a child lives with encouragement he learns to be confident.
If a child lives with praise he learns to appreciate.
If a child lives with fairness he learns justice.
If a child lives with security he learns to have faith.
If a child lives with approval he learns to like himself.
If a child lives with acceptance and friendship he learns to find love in the world.
So please be the very best role models and I promise to do the same. Let us work together with passion and sincerity towards the future of a new generation of excellent and motivated leaders of tomorrow. St. John’s Memorial Anglican Preschool is the place for your child to be as we take great pride in collaboration of teachers, students and parents to motivate the young minds of our precious little ones.
