Why www.placencia.com?
Years ago the Placencia BTIA created www.placencia.com to help its members to better promote themselves to the world at large. Placencia.com, the most recognized site for the Placencia destination, can be found at the top of most search engines and is the site that people reference when making their holiday plans.
The site has changed its look over the years and now serves more than 80% of Placencia BTIA Members. It is user friendly and makes it easy for potential and returning guests to find accommodations, restaurants, bars, tour operators, gift shops, beauty services and real estate companies. Visitors can learn all about the various things that our destination has to offer – diving, snorkeling, fishing, archeological adventures and more. Several of the information pages have even been translated into German!

The normal price to join www.placencia.com is $150 start up fee and $200 for the year. Because we bill Jan. – Dec. we prorate all new members through the rest of the year.
