Aerobic versus Anaerobic Exercise
Aerobic and Anaerobic” exercise are key parts to any fitness program. If you are new to fitness or just starting to take it serious again it is important to know the difference.
Aerobic means comfortable oxygen, which means exercising with in a comfortable level, such as walking or light jogging.
Anaerobic exercise is achieved when you allow yourself to push beyond your normal comfort level of exercise.
While Aerobic, or easy exercise, is necessary, and better than doing nothing, Anaerobic exercise will give you both health benefits and burn more fat. So for a complete work out program to work you, need exercise that is both Aerobic, or comfortable, and Anaerobic exercise, or uncomfortable.
BENEFITS: The benefits of doing this women will see more fat burned, and for men you will see an increase in speed, size, and strength.
BOTTOM LINE: If you wake up first thing in the morning and go for a walk, try it this way: Warm up by walking for about 10 minutes. Then 30 seconds of sprinting. Then walk again for 2-5 minutes, until you are comfortable. Then 30 seconds of sprinting again. Try this on a walk that is about 45 minutes to 1 hour. This is both Aerobic, walking, and Anaerobic, sprinting (running as fast as you can)
