Beauty Tips by YselaSimple At Home 20 Minute Facial
(Using readily available facial products!)
1. CLEANSE - Cleanse face and neck with warm water. Use facial soap bar or liquid soap (i.e. St. Ives etc... available at local grocery store or pharmacy). 2. EXFOLIATE - Exfoliate using a facial scrub such as St. Ives Apricot Scrub. Rub gently in a circular motion. Rinse with warm water. 3. STEAM - Steam (to open pores). Boil a small amount of water in a skillet. Let the steam hit your face for one minute or press a steaming towel to the face. 4. APPLY - Apply a Banana Mask (recipe below) for 15 minutes. 5. EXTRACTIONS - If necessary, gently remove black heads or pimples. This should be easy after steaming and mask. Do not squeeze hard and bruise skin. **TIP - Clean the sides of a phone card or credit card with alcohol and use to scrape gently on the face to remove black heads or pimples. 6. TONER - This is used to close pores. Apply a cold toner to skin using a cotton ball. (Toner can be left in the refrigerator.) Sea Breeze is a good choice. Also, rub an ice cube all over freshly cleansed face. 7. MOISTURIZE - Apply your favorite moisturizer using upward strokes and massage face gently. 8. REPEAT - Repeat facial once a week depending on acne or oiliness of skin.
Your face should now feel fresh, clean and brand new!! Facials can be fun to do! Invite a friend over! Great activity at slumber parties!
