In November 2004, Z-TOUCH Beauty Salon opened its doors to the people of Placencia. Ysela Zabaneh, Louisiana-state certified and licensed hair stylist and massage therapist, started her business, along with the help of Ann-Marie Burgess. The services offered included all hair care, manicures, pedicures, facials and body massages.

Z-TOUCH also housed a small ladies' boutique - INDULGENZ. The boutique's merchandise included ladies' clothing, underwear, swimwear, footwear, perfumes and body fragrances, make-up, jewelry and hair accessories.

It wasn't long before the ladies realized that the small business would not be able to accommodate the number of happy and satisfied clients coming in, so two years later, the business was expanded to include another massage room, a jacuzzi for hydro therapy, and more space for INDULGENZ. Annie became a certified hair stylist, and Ysela got trained to offer spa treatments to enhance her massage services, and also to perform acrylic and gel nail art. Vencemae Longsworth then joined the staff. She assisted in INDULGENZ and also performing exquisite braiding techniques. She is presently attending beauty school in Cayo, eager to become certified and return to Z-Touch.

Z-TOUCH DAY SPA now offers Sea-Salt Glows, Honey-Sugar Scrubs, Paraffin and Mud Wraps, 2 in 1 Facials and 30 minute partial or one hour and 90 minute Massages.

In the near future, Z-TOUCH will be enhancing their pedicure services by providing state-of-art massage-chairs, spa and deluxe pedicures, and we will also add a lovely gazebo for anyone who prefers services in the natural sea-breeze, instead of our air-conditioned salon.

INDULGENZ now includes colognes, flip-flops, and some clothing for men. A a book rental has also been added to our services.
