Belize City, Wednesday, February 24th, 2010- Blogger/Travel Writer Holly Corbett & Photographer, Michael Bristol are currently in Belize from February 22nd – March 3rd, 2010 visiting both inland and offshore Belize.
Her award winning travel blog is www.LostGirlsWorlds.com and gets 20,000 unique monthly visitors (plus over 1,500 followers on Twitter). Holly’s blog will include a six-part web series covering all aspects of Belize and will also focus on Belize as a romantic destination for couples seeking both adventure and wellness. In addition to her blog, Holly has secured an assignment with Healing Lifestyles & Spa, which has a circulation of 75,000. This magazine focuses on nurturing and healing alternatives for the global community and its exquisite photography and comprehensive editorial coverage let the reader explore the many rewards of healthy living. Holly will also be pitching to Redbook Magazine (circulation 2.3 million) with a similar story angle. Redbook is a magazine published for women with articles pertinent to all facets of day to day living. Stories feature real women and celebrities divulging struggles, hardships, successes and triumphs in their lives.
The couple’s itinerary will take them to La Isla Bonita, San Pedro where they will engage in a wonderful snorkel with nurse sharks and rays at Hol Chan & Shark Ray Marine Reserve, enjoy a spa treatment and some yoga. The next stop on their itinerary will take them to Placencia for a tour of Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary and a visit to the ancient Maya City of Lubaantun. The final leg of their itinerary will take them to Punta Gorda to spend a day immerse in the Maya culture of Belize.
