A little over a month ago, the BTIA Save our Sidewalk (S.O.S.) Committee decided that the first phase of the sidewalk revival project should be signage.

The committee decided that we needed some sidewalk signs as well as some smaller access signs to help tourists find their way around.

Between the committee members and BTIA members, Rick Fairs & Brigitte Bachmann-Fairs, some beautiful road and beach access signs were designed. Not only were they designed and printed, but Rick and Brigitte donated all 8 signs to the village!!!

Within the next few weeks and with close supervision from Rick and Brigitte, the signs will be installed at various access ways throughout Placencia. Please be on the lookout for the new signs in the village.

We are excited about them and think they will add even more character to our village. On behalf of the S.O.S.
